About

Business, technology and creative leadership.

I’m Jahleel Bennett, though most people call me Jay. I study Information Management & Technology at Syracuse University’s iSchool, with a concentration in Project Management and minors in Philosophy and Strategic Management. I graduate in May 2028.

Most of my work sits where technology, business and people overlap. I run Gemini workshops for Syracuse students as a Google Student Ambassador, I built Project 315 into a 200+ member creative community, I analyzed asset and wealth managers as an investment banking summer analyst, and I help faculty act on student feedback through SCOT.

02Principles

How I Approach My Work

  • 01

    Analytical thinking

Start with the evidence. Break the problem into parts, look at what the data and the people involved are actually saying, and let that shape the recommendation.

  • 02

    Collaboration

My best work has been built with other people: partner organizations, my executive board, faculty, and the students a project is for.

  • 03

    Ownership

Own the result, not just the task. Set priorities, give every piece a clear owner, and follow up until it’s finished.

  • 04

    Execution

A plan only counts once it’s delivered: the event happens, the deck gets used, the change actually reaches the classroom.
